1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Toothsome Periodontics, Dental Implants and Oral Surgery website and the services provided by the clinic (“Toothsome”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or receiving treatment at the clinic, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or book services through it.

These Terms operate alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Treatment Risks Disclosure, which together govern your relationship with Toothsome.

Where services are provided, Toothsome guarantees that they will be provided:

  • within a reasonable time where no timeframe is set

Where permitted by law, liability for breach of these guarantees is limited to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

Appointments can be booked via the website, by phone, or in person.

Toothsome reserves the right to confirm appointments prior to attendance.

Patients must provide accurate contact information to facilitate appointment reminders and clinical communication.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we request at least 48 hours’ notice.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a cancellation fee.

Where procedures require extended surgical time or sedation, deposits may be required to secure the appointment.

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without adequate notice may result in:

  • forfeiture of any deposit
  • cancellation fees
  • restrictions on future bookings

5. Payment Terms

Payment for treatment is required at the time services are provided unless prior arrangements have been made.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • EFTPOS
  • credit or debit card
  • bank transfer
  • approved third-party payment plans

Any payment plans are subject to the terms of the external finance provider and not Toothsome.

Treatment plans and quoted fees are estimates only and may change if clinical circumstances require modification during treatment.

Patients will be informed where significant changes to treatment costs arise.

Patients will be informed of the estimated cost of treatment before it begins. All treatment fees provided are estimates based on the information available at the time of consultation. If clinical findings change during treatment, the treatment plan and associated costs may be adjusted.

By proceeding with treatment, the patient acknowledges and accepts financial responsibility for the services provided.

6. Health Information and Patient Responsibilities

Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical and dental history information, including medications, allergies, and relevant health conditions. Toothsome is not responsible for complications arising from undisclosed or inaccurate medical information provided by a patient.

Failure to disclose relevant health conditions, medications, or allergies may impact treatment safety.

Toothsome is not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by a patient.

Patients must also:

  • follow post-treatment care instructions
  • attend scheduled follow-up appointments where required
  • contact the clinic if complications arise after treatment
