The training behind her
specialist expertise

Dr Chou completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2002 before undertaking specialist training in Periodontology. She later received her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology in 2009 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialist stream of Periodontics.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Chou contributes to the profession as a Clinical Educator at the University of Sydney, teaching final-year dental students and supporting the training of future dentists. Her calm, friendly and approachable manner helps patients feel comfortable during treatment, including younger patients who require surgical exposure of teeth as part of orthodontic care.

She has also held leadership roles within the profession, including serving as Past Vice-President of the Australian Society of Periodontology (NSW), and is a member of the Australian & New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, the Australian Dental Association, and the International Team of Implantology.
