The path that shaped his approach to care

In his career, David has worked at Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals in Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics and Emergency Medicine. He also worked as a Registrar in Maxillofacial Surgery at Royal Adelaide Hospital and as a Senior Dental Officer with Queensland Health. He is a Visiting Dental Officer in Dental Surgery at Port Augusta and Port Pirie Hospitals.

Being qualified in both medicine and dentistry means that Dr Willis can treat patients chairside, or if they prefer, in a hospital setting under a general anaesthetic. His friendly, down-to-earth nature makes him popular amongst all his patients, particularly those who feel nervous or anxious about their treatments.

Dr Willis has been performing these procedures since 2002, particularly with regard to impacted wisdom teeth, problematic teeth and implant-based restorations. David is a Member of the Australian Medical Association, the International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine.
